Carter Gerald Loren Carter Gerald Loren Carter peacefully passed from this life due to natural causes on December 25, 2018. Gerald was born in Burley Idaho on February 6, 1966 to Allen William Carter and Carolyn Ellen Nichols Carter. Gerald graduated from Pocatello High School and attended the Auto Mechanics program at Idaho State University. After graduating from ISU, Gerald worked in California and Utah. Gerald returned home to Idaho and began a career in long haul truck driving, wanting to be home and near family he left the open road and began working for Great Rift Trucking where he remained. Gerald enjoyed working on the farm with with his brother in law Glen in his younger years. Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding dirt bikes. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Gerald is survived by his daughter Jennifer Jo; his brothers and sisters, Linda (Steve) Tanner, Michael (Linda) Carter, Bradley (Diana) Carter, Debra (Glen) Duffin and Jeffrey (Hope) Carter; 4 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his father Allen William Carter, his mother Carolyn Ellen Nichols Carter and his best friend in life Annette Carter. Services will be held Friday January 4, 2019 at 11 am at the American Falls LDS Stake Center 111 Church Place, American Falls Idaho, with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
