Stuntman Killed on Norris’ Set
CEDAR HILL, Texas (AP) _ A vehicle being used in a stunt jump landed badly today during filming the television show ``Walker, Texas Ranger,″ killing one stuntman and injuring another.
The accident happened at Cedar Hill State Park southeast of Dallas.
A 49-year-old man died of injuries received in the crash, said Sam Lopez, a spokesman for Charlton Methodist Hospital in Duncanville.
The other man was being treated at a Dallas hospital. Neither man was identified.
Witnesses said a sport-utility vehicle apparently overshot its intended landing spot and struck some trees.
The CBS show stars Chuck Norris, who was not involved in the crash.
