EATONVILLE, Wash. (AP) — A devastated family is pleading for help finding the driver who hit their mother while she was riding her bike, then left her to die along State Route 7 in Eatonville.

KOMO-TV reports the family of 63-year-old Susan Rainwater is heartbroken and they want justice.

Washington State Patrol troopers said a car going north on SR 7 on Thursday morning left the roadway and hit Rainwater on the shoulder.

The driver took off and Rainwater died.

Danielle Pacheco first noticed Rainwater’s mangled bike in front of their house when she was heading to work.

She then noticed a shoe in road and became suspicious so she walked along the shoulder and hundreds of feet away, she saw Rainwater lying in the grass.
