Snow plow slides off road, rolls over, in Town of Cross Plains

A snow plow slid off the road and landed on its roof in the Town of Cross Plains Monday, police said.

Emergency crews responded to the crash about 6:00 p.m. in the 4000 block of Barlow Road, according to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.

The Town of Cross Plains snow plow truck was clearing snow and salting roads when it crashed, police said. The driver, who had to be extricated from the truck, had minor injuries.

Barlow Road was closed for three hours during the incident.
