Officials identify Livingston boy killed when truck hit bike

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Park County officials have released the name of an 11-year-old Livingston boy who was killed when a pickup truck hit his bicycle.

Coroner Al Jenkins tells The Billings Gazette that Cayden James Leonard died of injuries suffered in the crash on the evening of July 18.

Assistant Livingston Police Chief Wayne Hard says the driver has been cited for two non-moving violations. He declined to explain further, citing the ongoing investigation.

He says the driver stayed at the scene after the collision.
