Pleasant Grove mayor appoints new judge
Mayor Guy Fugal has appointed Randy Birch to fill the vacancy in the Pleasant Grove Justice Court left by Brent Bullock, who retired after 20 years of service to the city.
Birch has served for over eight years as the Heber City Justice Court Judge and will continue to do so with his new position in Pleasant Grove. Birch has practiced law for over 35 years in the state of Utah. From 1985 to 2010, he served as a small claims judge pro tem in the Third District and assisted in the preparation of the Small Claims Bench book.
Birch has also prepared and presented training materials for small claims judges for the Administrative Offices of the Court. He has previously practiced law with Walstad and Babcock, Bertch and Birch, and Bostwick and Price, and currently maintains his own solo practice in Heber.
