The Pawnee County Arts Council will be hosting musical talent from the Bern, Kansas, area in a musical concert and variety show on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. The program will be at the United Methodist Church, 849 F St., Pawnee City, Nebraska.

The Bern Apostolic Christian Men’s A Cappella Choir has members ranging from high school to 84 years old. Their director is Michael Strahm from Sabetha, Kansas. Guitar solos will be played by George Wykert in different genre of music. They both love playing the piano. Katrina Strahm is the oldest of seven children and is also in eighth grade with Alaina. She has performed at the Bern Fall Festival Musical Concert & Variety Show and in several recitals at the Home and middle school in Sabetha. Katrina helps with the family dairy farm and loves playing piano and fiddle tunes on her violin, as well as reading.
