‘American Ninja Warrior’ competitor Nolan Gardner to speak at Hoedown for Hope
When a fundraiser’s dress code is jeans and boots, you know you’re going to have a good time.
The Hoedown for Hope raises funds and awareness for Spokane Hearing Oral Program of Excellence, which provides auditory and language therapy to children with hearing loss.
This year’s event, Saturday at the Spokane Convention Center, features keynote speaker Nolan Gardner, who competed on “American Ninja Warrior” while wearing his cochlear implant, emcee Kjerstin Bell and auctioneer Rose Backs.
Live auction items include a Gonzaga Bulldogs West Coast Conference tournament package, a Seal Beach, California package, a Cabo San Lucas package and an “American Ninja Warrior” package.
There will be dozens of silent auction items (massage packages, gift cards for area eateries and businesses) and raffle items (a trip to Maui, Sandpoint getaway) up for grabs too.
Guests can also enjoy live music by Sharecroppers, performances by the Country Swingers, a photo corral and swing dancing (free instruction available during the event).
