OFFICER FIRED-LAWSUIT

BISMARCK, N.D. _ A woman who was fired from the Bismarck Police Department after 13 years on the force is suing the city and its former police chief for alleged gender discrimination and wrongful termination. Robyn Krile alleges the department took calculated steps to prevent her advancing through the ranks, and she seeks at least $100,000 in damages. By Blake Nicholson. SENT: 130 words. TELEMEDICINE-BILL OPPOSITION

BISMARCK, N.D. _ The telemedicine company Teladoc is opposed to legislation in North Dakota that would require such a telemedicine provider to do an initial video exam or have a patient exam done with another provider. Teladoc says it would have a “chilling effect” on patients and providers.
