Tomorrow’s Hope seeks volunteers for this year

May 16, 2019

JEFFERSON -- Tomorrow’s Hope is actively recruiting volunteers to help with event activities for the upcoming Hope Fest event on July 20.

Available positions include coordinators for Super Human Foosball, Blind Volleyball, and the prize tent. Event photographers and a stage manager are also needed. All positions require a small commitment prior to the event and require that individuals be present for the day of the event to keep things running smoothly.

Hope Fest is a celebration of life, family and friends, a time for many to find healing and strength as they share their journey with each other. At this event, funds are raised to support local healthcare recipients to help those who have been touched by Alzheimer’s, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other life-limiting illnesses.

“Volunteers are everything to us as a non-profit organization,” Tomorrow’s Hope Executive Director Barb Endl, said. “We have some amazing volunteers, including Ruth Fenske, Craft and vendor fair coordinator; Todd Wiedenhoeft, Team coordinator; Dick Krassner, luminary coordinator; Becky Brokmeier, Kelly Kober, and Randy Frohmader who all coordinate Ride With a Buddy; and many other community members who are part of our volunteer team. We want you to join us in helping plan, coordinate, and enjoy Hope Fest this year on July 20, 2019. We’re asking you to make an investment in your community by supporting us as a volunteer -- together we can make great things happen.”
