AUBURN, Ala. (AP) _ Tiffany Krantz hit a school-record eight 3-pointers and scored a career-high 31 points to lead No. 20 Auburn to a 101-70 rout of Troy State on Friday night.

Auburn (2-0) built a 22-4 lead over the first 7 1/2 minutes and held a 51-30 advantage at halftime and Troy State (1-1) never threatened thereafter.

Auburn freshman Erin McGinnis made two free throws with 10 seconds left to allow the Tigers to score more than 100 points for the first time since the 1994-95 season.

Krantz broke the school mark she set last season with seven 3-pointers against Vanderbilt. She also tied a career-high with a team-leading seven assists.

Conswella Sparrow added 22 points for Auburn, with McGinnis scoring 14 and Tasha Hamilton 12.

Troy State was led by LaKeisha Parrish with 31 points. Samantha Tomlinson added 11.
