Australia’s Servcorp leases 85th floor of 1 WTC
NEW YORK (AP) — An Australian company that provides virtual office space is leasing the 85th floor of New York City’s One World Trade Center.
The 15-year lease with Servcorp was announced Tuesday by landlords the Durst Organization and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Durst officials say the deal means the tower is now 57.5 percent leased.
One World Trade will open later this year when anchor tenant Conde Nast begins to move in.
Servcorp already has three Manhattan locations.
The company was founded in 1978. It provides both equipped executive offices and virtual offices.
One World Trade Center was previously known as the Freedom Tower.
The 1,776-foot tower is the tallest building in the United States.
