NEW YORK (AP) _ No sooner do the injury-ravaged Yankees finally get a player back than two more go down. On the same day New York activated center fielder Aaron Hicks for the first time this season, third baseman Miguel Andújar and right-hander Jonathan Loaisiga (loh-AY’-see-gah) were placed on the 10-day injured list. The Yankees have 13 players on the injured list. They’ve put 17 on the IL for 18 stints this year.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A Florida judge has blocked prosecutors from using video that allegedly shows New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft engaging in paid sex at a massage parlor. Judge Leonard Hanser ruled Monday that Jupiter police did not follow proper procedures after installing the hidden cameras that secretly recorded Kraft visiting the Orchids of Asia Day Spa twice in January.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Chiefs quarterback EJ Manuel, who was signed this offseason to compete for a backup job, has decided to retire after four seasons with Buffalo and one season with Oakland. Manuel was the 16th overall pick of the Bills in the 2013 draft, going 6-11 while struggling to live up to expectations. He’d been Derek Carr’s backup the past two seasons with the Raiders.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Longtime NFL coach Gunther Cunningham, who emigrated from postwar Germany as a child and then dedicated his life to football, has died after a brief illness. He was 72. Cunningham’s wife, Rene, said in a statement that he died Saturday. Yet Cunningham spent more than five decades in football, including coaching stints in college and the CFL before making a name for himself in the NFL. He worked for six different franchises over 34 years in the league, including a two-year stint as head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (AP) —Justin Thomas has withdrawn from the PGA Championship with a wrist injury, the first time he has missed a major since his rookie season. Thomas won the PGA Championship two years ago at Quail Hollow, the start of his rise to No. 1 in the world. He now is ranked No. 5. Thomas suffered a bone bruise in his right wrist when he struck a tree at the Honda Classic and felt he aggravated the injury at the Masters, the last event he played.
