NEW YORK (AP) — A person with knowledge of the situation tells The Associated Press the New York Knicks have agreed to send forward Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a draft pick. Word of the deal came one day after New York said it expected Anthony to report to training camp as scheduled on Monday. Anthony agreed to waive his no-trade clause to complete the deal, which was first reported by The Vertical.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — North Carolina State pulled off Saturday’s most surprising top-25 upset, knocking off 12th-ranked Florida State by a 27-21 margin in Tallahassee. Ryan Finley was 22 of 32 passing for 232 yards and two touchdowns, including a 71-yard TD pass late in the second quarter to give the 3-1 Wolfpack a 17-7 lead. Jaylen Samuels had two touchdowns for the Wolfpack, who hadn’t beaten a ranked team on the road since 2008.

UNDATED (AP) — The Boston Red Sox still pace the AL East by four games over the New York Yankees after Eduardo Rodriguez combined with two relievers on a three-hitter in the Bosox’s fifth consecutive win, a 5-0 shutout of the Reds. Mitch Moreland ripped a three-run homer to back Rodriguez, who gave up the three hits and struck out six over 7 2/3s. Greg Bird smacked a go-ahead, three-run homer in the fifth inning before Todd Frazier added a solo shot in the Yanks’ 5-1 victory at Toronto.

UNDATED (AP) — Travis Shaw slammed a two-run, walk-off homer in the 10th inning to give Milwaukee a 4-3 win over the Cubs, cutting Chicago’s lead in the NL Central to 4 ½ games over the Brewers. Ryan Braun lined a one-out double and scored on Shaw’s 31st home run of the year, a half-inning after Jon Jay poked an RBI single to put Chicago in front. The game-winning blast came off Wade Davis, who also surrendered Orlando Arcia’s tying homer leading off the ninth.

ATLANTA (AP) — Paul Casey fired a 5-under 65 that gives him a two-shot lead over Kevin Kisner and Xander Schauffele (SHOW’-flee) through three rounds of the Tour Championship in Atlanta. Casey sank a 40-foot birdie putt on 17 and moved to 12 under for the tournament. He’s trying to capture his first title in more than eight years and claim the $10 FedEx title.
