CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The U.S. Attorney's office says a former youth softball coach in New Hampshire has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.

Court documents say 29-year-old Trevor Palladino coached the team in Milford. They say he used Instagram to communicate with a child who had been on a team he coached and requested that she send him sexually explicit photos of herself. She did so, and he sent similar photos of himself.

Prosecutors say a search warrant was executed at Palladino's home in Milford and his cellphone was seized. An examination of the phone revealed sexually explicit photos of the child.

Palladino pleaded guilty in federal court on Wednesday. He will be sentenced on Nov. 28.
