N.Y. man charged with sexually assaulting Bridgeport woman in her home
BRIDGEPORT — A New York man has been charged with sexually assaulted a woman in her home here.
Boris Bonilla, 33, of Queens, N.Y., was charged Wednesday with second-degree sexual assault. He was held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
Police said a Bridgeport woman complained that she had been sexually assaulted by a friend of her husband’s who had been staying at their home for the night.
The woman said she was asleep in her bedroom when she woke up to find someone reaching into her underwear, police said. The woman initially thought it was her husband, but when she opened her eyes she saw Bonilla standing over her, police said.
The woman woke up her husband who confronted Bonilla and ordered him to leave the apartment, police said. Meanwhile, the woman called police.
