HS VOLLEYBALL: Cantarella Leads Dunmore Sweep

Antoinette Cantarella had seven kills, 10 aces and six assists and Jordyn Marichak had 14 points to lead Dunmore to a 3-0 win over Susquehanna in a Lackawanna League girls volleyball match Monday.

Katherine Hopkins had six kills and five aces for the Lady Bucks and Madison Cruser had seven kills and six points.

Chloe Tinklepaugh had eight digs for Susquehanna and Kaylee Landry had five digs.

Forest City 2

At Mountain View, Maddie Williams and Rachel Gerfin each had eight kills as the Lady Eagles rallied from a 2-0 deficit to earn a win.

Tasha Shay had 28 assists for the winners.

Kara Kell had five aces and 10 assists for Forest City and Faith Ursich had 25 digs.

Blue Ridge 3, Montrose 0

At Montrose, Makenzie Cook had 11 aces and

18 points to lead Blue Ridge.

Hunter Heeman had

11 kills and seven points for the Lady Raiders and Katie White had 13 points.

Kayden Rowe had

six digs and five points for Montrose, Grace Aukema had seven points and Jessie Fassler had 12 assists and five points.

six aces and 10 assists for the Lady Wildcats and Rebecca Klemovitch and Trina Barcarola each had six kills.

Alana Warner had three kills and seven points for Elk Lake and Kelsey Day had three kills.

11 digs for Lackawanna Trail and Ashtyn Mecca had seven assists.
