Orchids and Onions: Tuesday, April 2, 2019

April 2, 2019

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to the Onion regarding the sandbagger who wins tournaments but his handicap never changes (goes down). Guys like this will cheat to win just to feed their egos. Sad.

Onions to our federal government. They have borrowed close to $70,000 for every man, woman, and child in the US. They want to increase this by another $3000 this year alone. These are supposed to be good times. We should be paying the debt down. There will be another recession. Then what?

Orchids to a local couple in Havasu for their patience, consideration, and loyalties to keep me employed as their housekeeper. You have no idea how much I appreciate everything you’ve done/do for me these past four years. Plus, the Christmas bonuses are more than ample. Thank you D and N. Love you!

Onions to the restaurant who gave up our table reservation for 23 and forced us to go somewhere else...Orchids to Legendz for welcoming our large group and providing excellent service and food. Bent over backward to accommodate us. Thank you.

Orchids to Javier at AAA Transmission for helping us fix the door on our van which is used to transport individuals with disabilities. He took the time out of his day to help us get the door back on track so that we could have it repaired correctly. He is a kind and compassionate individual.

Onions to the jerk at the airport trying to charge for parking. Is this Vegas?

Orchids to Havasu Mobility for partnering with our agency to transport an individual with disabilities when our van was out of commission. They were there within the hour to assist us with transportation. We truly appreciate the responsiveness, the professionalism, and the collaboration.

Onions on calling it a “luncheon special” where there was nothing “special” about it.

Orchids to Red Iron M/C! Even though our 10th Annual Denise’s Day Benefit Concert was postponed until next year due to scheduling conflicts, Red Iron M/C still made their annual donation to help local families battling cancer! You guys rock! Thank you! Denise’s Day Crew
