Man robs US Bank at Playhouse Square in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The FBI is investigating after a man robbed a US Bank in downtown Cleveland.

Investigators say the the man entered the bank located at 1350 Euclid Ave., which is in Playhouse Square, at about 3:15 p.m. Monday.

Although he didn’t show a weapon, he claimed he was armed and demanded money from a teller. 

The FBI says the suspect is 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 and between 140-150 pounds. He had a dark complexion with a scruffy gray-black beard and was wearing denim jeans, a burgundy shirt and a Cavaliers ball cap. 

No injuries were reported.
