Colo.’s Klatt Likely to Play Against Kan.
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) _ Colorado quarterback Joel Klatt is expected to play Saturday against Kansas after missing most of two games with a bruised throwing shoulder.
Klatt was driven to the turf on a sack during Colorado’s 47-26 loss to Washington State on Sept. 13. He did not play again until the fourth quarter of the Buffaloes’ 42-30 loss to Baylor last weekend.
Klatt was not 100 percent healthy Wednesday but coach Gary Barnett said he would probably play when Colorado (2-3, 0-2 Big 12) plays Kansas (4-1, 1-0) in Boulder.
Cornerback Terrence Wheatley (sternum) and safety Medford Moorer (elbow) were also expected to be ready to play.
Safety Brian Iwuh was expected to miss the game because of the deaths of his stepfather on Saturday and his brother on Wednesday.
