Toastmasters hold meeting in Summit
OCONOMOWOC -- Oconomowoc Toastmasters 834 held its meeting Thursday at Aurora Medical Center in Summit.
Toastmaster Pam Gutsche’s theme was “April Showers” with a pet’s twist. Invocation was done by Donna Fuller. Word master was Rick Gutsche with the words “psychiatrist” and “psychologist.” Reading master Bodine Seeley did a reading titled “It Must Be Spring.”
Table topics master Joan Genske called on Bill Hogan, Mary Tyliciki and Seeley to answer table topic questions.
First speaker Chamy Lutz’s speech was titled “How Many Websites Are Out There.” Ellen Bohn was the second speaker and her speech was titled “Soybeans.” General evaluator Hogan called Tylicki to evaluate Lutz and Ted Fuller evaluated Bohn.
Winners were: best speech, Bohn; best evaluator, Tylicki; and best table topics, Tylicki.
Oconomowoc Toastmasters hold meetings every first and third Thursdays of the month at Aurora Medical Center at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in learning public speaking or leadership skills is welcome to attend.
