New Pedestrians set for Saturday show at Crossings

ZUMBROTA — Amanda Oliver & the New Pedestrians will perform a mix of country, blues and pop in a concert at 7:30 p.m Saturday at Crossings at Carnegie, 320 East Ave., Zumbrota.

The band features Oliver on vocals, and Grammy-nominated songwriter Bill Giese on guitar and vocals. Much of the material is written by Giese, who has been compared to songwriters John Prine and Guy Clark. Giese is a former member of the Stoney Lonesome Bluegrass Band.

Also in the band are Al Pettis on bass, Jim Nee on pedal steel, and Ken LeBlanc on guitar.
