George Bush Intercontinental Airport to celebrate 50th anniversary with community event
To celebrate 50 years in the Humble area, the George Bush Intercontinental Airport is hosting the IAH Fest Community Celebration on March 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Rain or shine the celebration is free to attend and will have live music, free food and fun activities, such as airport tours and displays, a rock-climbing wall, a mechanical bull, face painting, among other activities. There will also a be a birthday cake celebrating the IAH’s growth over the past 50 years.
Free parking is available at the ecopark location near the intersection of Greens Road and John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Shuttles will be available to take attendees to the event.
