Maine man’s death no longer considered suspicious
MILFORD, Maine (AP) — Police say the death of a Maine man who was found in his home is no longer considered suspicious.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday the Maine medical examiner’s office is still working to determine the cause of death for 47-year-old Jeffrey Brooks.
The Bangor Daily News reports Brooks’ teen daughter found him Tuesday in his Milford home with wounds on his face.
Brooks had just moved into the home in July.
An investigation is ongoing. The cause of his death is pending further testing from the medical examiner’s office.
