Euclid Fire Department battles blaze at recycling company

EUCLID, Ohio — Euclid firefighters were battling a blaze Friday afternoon at a recycling company, Euclid Fire Department said.

Several junk cars and other materials are on fire at Dille Road Recycling in the 1400 block of Dille Road, the fire department posted on its Facebook page. The road is closed so firefighters can run water hoses across the street.

No one was injured in the fire, officials said.

Dille Road Recycling is an “industrial scrap metal management company. Our services include the implementation of personalized recycling solutions for all industries big and small,” according to its website.

The fire was reported just after 3 p.m. and black smoke could be seen from downtown Cleveland. People posted photos on social media of the blaze.
