CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Wine Spot has its big annual holiday wine show coming up, plus many other wine events are scheduled in Northeast Ohio. Wine dinner prices often do not include tax or tip. Deadline to submit info is Thursday; email me. Cheers!

Through Sunday, Sept. 2: The Capital Grille’s annual The Generous Pour promotion will offer guests a tasting experience of seven selections of classic California and Washington varietals created by winemaker Dan Duckhorn and his winemakers. Cost is $28 with dinner. The Capital Grille is at 25389 Cedar Road, Lyndhurst.

AUGUST

Through Friday, Aug. 31: Corleone’s Ristorante is celebrating its 23rd anniversary. Wines that usually go for up to $40 per bottle will be $23. (Other specials include select entrees that normally cost $38-$45 will be $23, and $100 gift cards will come with a $23 bonus card.) Corleone’s is at 5669 Broadview Road, Parma.

Thursday, Aug. 23: West Shore Wine Co. will feature ‘back to school’ wines – vino to help parents relax as the kids head back to the classroom. Thursday, Aug. 23: Ruth’s Chris Steak House will hold its fifth of six TasteMaker Dinners with wine pairings. The fifth five-course dinner will feature Veuve Clicquot of France. Friday, Aug. 24: Rozi’s Wine House will hold its annual beer and wine tasting fundraiser 6-9 p.m. All proceeds will go toward the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s support of blood-cancer research.
