Bodies of Missing Fisherman Found
KEATON BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ The bodies of two missing fishermen were found Tuesday night hours after their boat was found overturned in the water.
Another boater spotted the bodies and transferred them to Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission officials, said Coast Guard Petty Officer Robert Suddarth.
Eli Nichols, 42, and Jay Kimball, 47, were last seen late Thursday in the Gulf in their 17-foot craft. The men were firefighters in Alpharetta, Ga., near Atlanta. They had failed to report to work Saturday.
Causes of death had not been determined.
A conservation commission helicopter found the overturned boat Tuesday afternoon in Apalachee Bay, near Keaton Beach, about 50 miles southeast of Tallahassee. The bodies were found about 15 miles from the boat.
