3 arrested in Buckeye in drug bust that nets meth, fentanyl
PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say three men have been arrested after a drug bust by a Maricopa County task force.
They say the arrests capped an investigation that began in May.
The operation included the seizure of 15 pounds of methamphetamine, 500 fentanyl pills, cocaine, marijuana, cash, a high-caliber handgun and vehicles.
County Sheriff’s officials say 22-year-old Abraham Oliveros-Suarez, 25-year-old Armando Oliveros-Suarez and 22-year-old Rodrigo Valdez have been jailed on suspicion of the sale of dangerous drugs, sale of narcotic drugs, possession of weapon in drug offense and conspiracy.
Authorities say the three suspects met undercover detectives at a location in Buckeye to conduct the drug transaction and were arrested.
It was unclear Tuesday if any of the three men has a lawyer yet who can speak on their behalf.
