It’s All Element-ary at Lowell Catholic
LOWELL -- Chemistry students at Lowell Catholic High School developed a living periodic table of the elements in the Keith Gymnasium.
The school has been added to the world map for the International Year of the Periodic Table 2019, as it joins the global science community in celebrating the 150th anniversary of the periodic table of the elements.

LC students will continue their scientific exploration of the periodic table on Thursday through the school’s Science Speaker Series. Professor Christian Brückner, chairman of the Chemistry Department at the University of Connecticut, will speak on the periodic table system that was developed by Dmitry Mendeleev in 1869.
