LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) _ The Chicago Bears cut linebacker Khari Samuel and signed tackle Damion Cook from the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.

Samuel, picked in the fifth round of the 1999 draft by Chicago, started one game and appeared in 30 with the Bears. He had 14 tackles while covering kicks last season.

Cook joined the Ravens as an undrafted free agent from Bethune-Cookman.
