WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. (AP) _ I.D. Systems Inc. (IDSY) on Wednesday reported a loss of $1.1 million in its second quarter.

The Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, came to 2 cents per share.

The maker of tracking and communications technology for fleet vehicles posted revenue of $14.8 million in the period.

I.D. Systems shares have declined almost 10 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.25, a decrease of 11 percent in the last 12 months.
