A ribbon cutting for the new Harding High School is set
BRIDGEPORT — The city school district will celebrate the opening of the new Warren Harding High School with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The celebration is set for 3 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. at the new school which is located at 379 Bond Street.
The public is invited.
The $107 million, 207,000 square foot facility was built on top of the former General Electric Company site and is located less than a mile from the former Harding. Beyond a high school for 1,150 students in grades nine through twelve, the facility will also include a day care center.
School opens on Thursday, August 30, 2018.
