DSP Group: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ DSP Group Inc. (DSPG) on Tuesday reported a loss of $521,000 in its second quarter.
The San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 7 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 2 cents per share.
The internet phone and wireless chipset company posted revenue of $29 million in the period.
DSP Group shares have climbed 41% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 23% in the last 12 months.
