BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ Jaci Stimson scored 14 points, including a crucial three-point play with a minute remaining Sunday, to lead No. 22 Clemson to a 52-50 victory over Florida in the championship of the Sware Coca-Cola Holiday Classic.

Stimson scored her final three points to give the Tigers (6-1) a 52-48 lead. That play followed a 3-point shot by Clemson’s Calesha Corder.

The Lady Gators (8-4) worked the ball for a final shot, but Talatha Bingham’s 10-footer bounced off the rim as the buzzer sounded. DeLisha Milton led Florida with 13 points, while Tiffany Travis added 12.

Clemson grabbed a 34-30 lead at halftime and held the lead throughout much of the second half before Florida went up 48-46 on a layup by Dana Smith with 2:23 remaining.

Corder and Stimson scored the next six points to lead the Tigers to victory. Milton scored a pair of free throws with 30 seconds remaining to cut Clemson’s lead to 52-50.
