Invitation Home: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
DALLAS (AP) _ Invitation Home Inc. (INVH) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $13.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Dallas-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 29 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 29 cents per share.
The real estate investment trust focused on single-family rentals posted revenue of $432.4 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $432.1 million.
Invitation Home shares have climbed 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $23.82, a rise of 13 percent in the last 12 months.
