ABORTION-NORTH DAKOTA

BISMARCK, N.D. _ The House is scheduled to hear testimony on two new abortion bills, six years after passing some of the nation’s strictest laws on the procedure, most of which were blocked in court. By James MacPherson. Developing.

ROOSEVELT LIBRARY

BISMARCK, N.D. _ The foundation working to build a Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library is negotiating with Dickinson State University to resolve issues arising from the termination of a campus land lease. The foundation had a 99-year, dollar-a-year lease for university land it no longer needs after deciding to move the library project from Dickinson to Medora. The state Board of Higher Education backed off on a money demand and lawsuit threat, but the foundation and DSU are still negotiating other terms. By Blake Nicholson. SENT: 840 words.
