At Nanticoke Area, three straight goals to open the second half broke open a close game and powered Tunkhannock to a 7-4 win over the host Trojans.

Eddie Melan scored three goals, all in the first half, and assisted on two in the second Alex Paduck goals in the second. It was returning the favor after Paduck assisted on all three of Melan’s goals.

Braiden Jerome and Drew Dimeolo also scored for Tunkhannock.

For Nanticoke Area, Adam Eckhart tallied all four goals.

At Crestwood, Sean Murphy scored four goals and Max Gariano added three in the Comets’ rout of Pittston Area.

At Berwick, Joseph Rosero scored in second overtime and helped Hazleton win.

Raul Laro also scored for Hazleton Area, with his goal tying the game 1-1 after Misael Hernandez scored for Berwick.

Jeremy Aquino made nine saves in net for Hazleton Area, while his Berwick counterpart, Luis Garcia, made 11 stops.
