Encinco Energy signs big Uptown lease
Encino Energy has leased 76,048 square feet at San Felipe Plaza, bringing the property to nearly 90 percent occupancy. The 980,472-square-foot tower at 5847 San Felipe is operated by Parkway Property Investments. Philip Price of Newmark Knight Frank represented Encino Energy. JP Hutcheson and Eric Siegrist represented Parkway.
Winston & Strawn, a global law firm with nine offices in the U.S., will move into downtown’s Capitol Tower in early 2020, Skanska announced. The 62,515-square-foot, 15-year lease takes the 35-story building at 800 Capitol to 81 percent leased. Warren Savery and Kristen Rabel from CBRE represented Skanska. CBRE’s Jon Lee, Kevin Kushner and Nancy Pacher represented Winston & Strawn. The building will open in the second quarter.
Financial Freedom Wealth Advisors has leased 5,330 square feet at Phoenix Tower, 3200 Southwest Freeway. Taylor Wright of NAI Partners represented the tenant. The building is a property of Parkway Property Investments in Greenway Plaza.
LBA Hospitality has purchased the 92-room Home2 Suites at 20985 Katy Freeway, Katy. The deal represents the Dothan, Ala.-based company’s fourth hotel in the Houston market.
WT Distribution has leased 144,620 square feet of expansion distribution space at 530 Portwall. Jonathan McDaniel and Patrick McKiernan with First Houston Properties represented the tenant.
Silverado Hospice Houston has leased 5,506 square feet at 14550 Torrey Chase Blvd. Richard Maloof represented the landlord, Hartman Income REIT. Nelson Udstuen with CBRE represented the tenant.
Lessing Properties has purchased a 12,500-square-foot industrial building at 612 Spring Cypress in Spring. Patrick Wolford of Lee & Associates and Joel English of Texas CRES represented the seller, Great Central Mortgage Acceptance Co. Mike Spears and Justin Cole of Lee & Associates represented the buyer.
Manuel & Son Trucking has purchased 4.8 acres on Genoa Red Bluff Road, near the East Sam Houston Tollway, in Pasadena. Domingo Palomino with Realty Associates represented the buyer. Wayne Rutledge with Rutledge Commercial Real Estate represented the sellers.
