On May 11, 1963, Fred married Donna Norlin in Dodge Center, where the couple resided and raised their family.
Fred worked at McNeilus Steel for more than 40 years, and after retirement, he worked at the Dodge Center brush dump.
He is survived by his children, Pam (Jim) Jensen, Kim (James) Johnson and Tom (Kristi) Thompson, all of Dodge Center; and grandchildren, Jamie, Haley and Makena Jensen. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna, who passed away on July 17, 2017; and a brother, Richard.
Fred enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, visiting with friends and cruising around town as well as catching up on the “town news” at Hardware Hank.
Per Fred’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service at a later date.
A special thank you to Mayo Hospice for all their support and care.
