Wilshire Quinn Income Fund Added to the Charles Schwab Alternative Investment Platform

November 6, 2018

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 6, 2018--Wilshire Quinn Capital, Inc. announced today that its private real estate lending fund, the Wilshire Quinn Income Fund, has been approved on the Charles Schwab Alternative Investment Platform. As such, both retail investors and Registered Investment Advisors can now invest directly in the Wilshire Quinn Income Fund through the Charles Schwab platform.

Launched in 2011, the Wilshire Quinn Income Fund makes short-term real estate loans on properties with substantial equity in senior or first lien position, and has a low correlation to the equity and bond markets. The Fund has returned 6.67% (net of fees) to their investors in 2018 and has returned 57.33% (net of fees) since inception, with 86 consecutive months of positive returns.

“We are pleased to announce that Charles Schwab investors will now be able to purchase our lending fund through their own retail accounts. As we continue to grow, additional investor capital will allow us to have a more diversified portfolio of short-term real estate loans,” said CEO Christopher M. Garcia.

Available to accredited investors, the Wilshire Quinn Income Fund can be purchased in both retirement and non-retirement accounts through Charles Schwab under Securities Number 51326330. The Fund can also be purchased directly from Wilshire Quinn Capital, Inc., which serves as manager of the Wilshire Quinn Income Fund.

Added Garcia, “Real estate lending is an underutilized asset class which is not readily available to retail investors. As the equity and bond markets continue to struggle, we feel more investors will be looking to diversify their portfolio into a fund like ours which offers consistent returns and is secured by real estate with significant equity.”

The Wilshire Quinn Income Fund has become popular for fixed-income investors in search of passive income on a monthly basis without the volatility. As rising interest rates continue to weaken the bond markets, the Wilshire Quinn Income Fund adheres to a precise strategy of lending on equity rich properties in coastal and metropolitan areas.
