Robert Wagner and Jill St. John Wed in Private Ceremony
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. (AP) _ Actor Robert Wagner and actress Jill St. John were married Saturday in a private ceremony in the garden of Wagner’s Pacific Palisades home.
Wagner, 60, and Miss St. John, 49, have been together for eight years, said publicist Alan Nierob.
Katherine Wagner, 26, served as maid-of-honor. Natasha Gregson, 19, and Courtney Brooke, 16, were bridesmaids. Also attending were Wagner’s mother and sister and Miss St. John’s mother, Nierob said.
Wagner was married twice to the late actress Natalie Wood. On Nov. 29, 1981, Miss Wood accidentally slipped from Wagner’s 60-foot yacht Splendour and drowned off Santa Catalina Island, Calif., at age 43.
After Miss Wood’s death, Wagner gave the yacht to the Sea Scouts, sold their rambling Beverly Hills home and moved to a Sunset Boulevard estate with Natasha, Miss Wood’s daughter from her marriage to English producer Richard Gregson; Courtney, born to Miss Wood and Wagner after they married a second time in 1972, and Katherine, Wagner’s daughter from his marriage to dancer Marian Marshall.
Wagner and Miss Wood’s first five-year marriage ended in 1965.
Miss St. John, whose films include ″Diamonds are Forever,″ was previously married and divorced three times.
Wagner, who has been in numerous films, starred in the TV series ″Hart to Hart″ from 1979-84.
