Clemson 108, Florida International 55
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) _ Senior Horace Grant scored 24 points to lead six players in double figures as 12th-ranked Clemson defeated Florida International 108-55 in college basketball Monday night.
Clemson, 14-0, had a school-record 15 blocked shots and went over the 100- point mark for the fourth time this year.
Grant made nine of 10 field goal attempts grabbed 13 rebounds while playing just 20 minutes. Michael Tait, who made five of 10 3-point field goal attempts, finished with 17 points.
Freshman Elden Campbell, who scored 16 points and had 12 rebounds, had eight of the blocked shots. Only Tree Rollins, now with the Atlanta Hawks, recorded more blocked shots while playing at Clemson. He had 10 twice.
Bernie Cantens, who played just 11 minutes, led Florida International, 4-7, with 13 points.
Anthony Jenkins, Tim Kinkaid and Michael Brown each scored 10 points for Clemson.
