Hanover Twp. Man Found Not Guilty On Rape Charges

WILKES-BARRE — A Hanover Twp. man accused of raping a woman after a night of drinking was found not guilty at trial this week. Keith D. Eichler, 20, was accused of forcing himself on a woman in the early morning hours of May 13, 2018, after a night of drinking. Eichler was charged with felony counts of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and sexual assault, as well as a misdemeanor count of indecent assault. Following a two-day trial this week, a jury found Eichler not guilty on all counts. Defense attorney Nanda Palissery represented Eichler. — JAMES HALPIN
