Stamford High hold second annual Color Run

August 20, 2018

STAMFORD — The second annual Stamford High Color Run will be held Sept. 21 when classes are dismissed at 2:05 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Friends Of Stamford High, a group of parents, administrators, teachers, support staff, students and alumni who provide funding for classroom materials and experiences that fall outside the school budget, as well as money for scholarships, a Back to School Lunch for staff, the Teacher Appreciation breakfast and a prom after-party. The money raised at the run will go back to Stamford High School.

The event will feature a DJ, raffle prizes and food trucks from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The person who donates the most money to the run will receive VIP graduation seats and parking. The class with the most participants will get up to $1,000 toward their prom budget.

Registration (to run/walk or throw color) can be done online or by filling out the registration form (individual / group) and waiver. They should be returned with the registration fee to the SHS main office.
