STAMFORD — The seniors get to continue to chase glory.

The King School boys lacrosse team advanced to the NEPSAC McCoy Cup semifinals Monday by conquering Wooster School, 10-5 before a wet but happy home crowd.

The win means that King (7-5) will travel to battle Fairchester Athletic Association rival Hamden Hall Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. in the NEPSAC McCoy Cup semifinals/West Division final. Hamden Hall advanced Monday by downing Rocky Hill, 16-3.

“For those of us who play football as well, this just brings things around full circle,” said King senior goalie Chris Della Jacono. “It always seems to come down to us and Hamden Hall. The bottom line is if we want to be the best team in NEPSAC, we have to beat the best teams to do that.”
