Central Florida’s commuter rail is expanding
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Central Florida’s commuter rail is expanding.
Starting Monday, SunRail is adding four more stops and 17 miles as it moves into another county in metro Orlando.
The commuter rail is expanding into Osceola County for the first time and it now will stretch from Poinciana, Florida to DeBary, Florida.
SunRail began service four years ago at a cost of $357 million.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the new extension cost $187 million.
