CLEVELAND (AP) — All-Star forward Kevin Love has signed a new four-year, $120 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are beginning anew following LeBron James' departure. Love signed the extension today. The 29-year-old just completed his fourth season with Cleveland, which was swept by Golden State in the NBA Finals. That loss was followed by James leaving in free agency to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.

IRVINE, Calif. (AP) — Running back Todd Gurley has agreed to a lucrative four-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Rams. Rams general manager Les Snead confirmed the new deal today for the NFL's offensive player of the year. The Rams didn't announce the financial terms of the deal, but ESPN says the extension is worth $60 million through 2023.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Defenseman Brandon Montour has agreed to a two-year, nearly $6.8 million contract through the 2019-20 season to stay with the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks announced the deal today with their restricted free agent. Montour had nine goals and 23 assists in 80 games last season, his first full NHL campaign. The smooth-skating blueliner scored five game-winning goals, matching the franchise record for defensemen.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A former diver is suing USA Diving, alleging that a coach sexually abused her beginning when she was 16. Estee Pryor says she and the 27-year-old coach began having sex within a week of him approaching her and complimenting her. She is now 21. Pryor is one of two former divers suing USA Diving, accusing the national governing body of ignoring or obstructing inquiries into the sex abuse allegations.
