Florence’s remnants bringing heavy rains to Philadelphia area

The remnants of what was Hurricane Florence are bringing heavy rain to parts of the Philly region.

The remnants of what was Hurricane Florence are expected to bring heavy rains to parts of the Philadelphia region for the next two days.

The National Weather Service forecast says there’s up to 60 percent chance of precipitation in the region today, starting with  showers followed by some showers and thunderstorms after 5 p.m. after that. “Some of the storms could produce heavy rain,” the NWS says.
