Cops: Motive unclear in teen’s fatal shooting at South Philly gas station

Sajjad Hossain stood Friday in the parking lot of a South Philadelphia gas station where a gunman Thursday night fired 16 shots toward a group of teens, hitting two 15-year-old boys, one of whom died.

He pointed to four chalk circles on the ground where police had recovered shell casings, and showed where bullets hit the garage doors of the station’s auto-repair shop. The shooting was captured on the station’s surveillance video, which Hossain played after showing it to two police officers.
