PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) — A Pittsfield man already facing a vehicular homicide charge in connection with the death of a 91-year-old man has had his bail revoked for allegedly leaving the scene of another accident.

Authorities say 33-year-old John Murray Jr. took a car from the auto dealer where he was working on Jan. 3 and abandoned it in a field after it went off the road in Stockbridge.

Prosecutors say Murray wasn't supposed to be driving because his license was suspended after he was charged in connection with a February accident in which 91-year-old Jack Joyner was killed when his motorized scooter was struck by a car allegedly driven by Murray.

The Berkshire Eagle reports Murray's lawyer says a drunk co-worker was behind the wheel in the latest accident and blamed Murray.
